Special Yoga for Autism

I have been working with children for over 10 years and have experience in working with autism and ADHD. Over this time I have developed an approach to therapy that is entirely focused on the individual and their needs.

Sessions are adapted depending on what works best for the child or group of children, with an emphasis on finding inner calm and emotional stress relief.

ASANA

A simple therapeutic approach and adapted to support children’s sensory, physical, physiological, and emotional needs.

BREATHWORK

Emotions are controlled by the breath. Different techniques are used to regulate emotions.

SONG AND SOUND

The vibration of the sound is used to calm the nervous system. It also helps children to develop concentration and motor coordination.

RELAXATION

It will help children to find a deep state of relaxation, it’s important to balance the body function to find inner peace.

MINDFULNESS

Finding self-awareness through mindfulness for a better understanding of what is happening and managing their emotional state.

MASSAGE

Massage helps to restore emotional and physical stress to a normal level. Massage helps reduce anxiety, promotes wellbeing, increases concentration, and supports the immune system.
