YOGA THERAPY
Yoga Therapy is the use of yoga techniques such as modified postures, breathing exercises, and meditation to promote physical, emotional, and psychological well-being. It is a holistic approach that can be used to alleviate various health conditions and improve overall health and wellness.
Yoga therapy is typically tailored to meet the specific needs of an individual and can be used to address a wide range of physical and mental health issues, including chronic pain, stress, anxiety, depression, and more. As a yoga therapist, I will work with my client to understand their unique needs, health concerns and create a personalised practice that may include postures, breath work, meditation and other techniques to help them achieve their goals. Yoga therapy can be performed one-on-one or in small groups.
HOW I CAN HELP
As a Yoga Therapist, I have a specialised focus on lower back pain and psoas dysfunction, as well as working with a wide range of injuries and injury prevention. Through Yoga Therapy, I aim to empower individuals to understand how to properly and safely incorporate yoga poses, or asanas, into their daily routine.
My goal is to help individuals move with ease and without pain, overcome feelings of limitations and guilt, and gain confidence and control over their own bodies. I take a holistic approach when assessing each individual’s needs and creating a personalized plan of action to best address their specific concerns.
